Students were assigned to incorporate a client’s Interior Design business and a gallery into her home. We were given an urban corner lot and exterior dimensions. No spatial communication between living quarters above and the work space below was allowed. In addition to a work space, client meeting area, and an art gallery below, the program for the living quarters required two bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen, dining, living space, an outdoor space, and laundry.
